Wenge top and back with a secondary layer of Bloodwood and Mahogany core, accented with Curly Maple and Wenge.

Bloodwood with Curly Maple accent.

Electronics

Bartolini 8CBP with volume and tone controls. Bartolini SB92C-B neck and Bartolini SB-D01 bridge with volume, tone and independent mini toggle switch to select series/parallel/split function of each pickup. The additional mini toggle controls the feed of the main output jack.

Hardware

Satin/Chrome Sperzel Trim-Lock Guitar and Bass tuners, ABM single bridge pieces with string through option.

Finish

Hand rubbed satin oil.

 

The fan fret design allows the multiple function of bass and guitar in the same instrument. There are two jacks to allow the bass strings to run through a bass amp and the guitar strings through a guitar amp. This is a spectacular instrument, a little challenging to play, but very satisfying once you get the hang of it.
