Welcome to Crow Hill Guitars!

This month marks the first day of Autumn, and we all know what that means—the holidays just fly right at us. This year, I decided to offer a couple small gift ideas. Check out my T-SHIRTS and HATS, custom WOOD PICKS, andBUFFALO HORN PICKS. If you're interested in any of these, send me an e-mail and I can get them shipped.

Take a look at August's Guitar of the Month. Andy's semi-hollow classical is turning out to be a fun and stimulating project. I laminated the front and back of the headstock with morado—a classy compliment to the blue spruce top and the golden Spanish cedar body. And the mother-of-pearl bird inlay just jumps from the ebony fingerboard.

This month, I'm beginning work on Eli's 7-string fan fret guitar. He's settled on a morado top with bubinga and wenge in the neck. Check back soon for pictures.

Also, don't forget to keep an eye on the Available page. I'll have some new pieces up in time for the holidays.

You can check back throughout the month to see the progress of this month's guitar. Just click the Guitar of the Month link. You can also see what I currently have available or browse my gallery of past designs. I wasn't very disciplined about taking pictures of early guitars, so if you have one, send me some shots.

What the pictures can't show you, though, is what it is to hold one of these instruments—from the distinctively comfortable feel to the way they just sing when played. Take a look at the about page, too, if you're curious as to what exactly makes a Crow Hill guitar unique. If you see something you like, let me know. And if you don't, that's even better; let's get together and build one just for you.

Thanks for stopping by; I appreciate your interest. You'll probably notice that things are a little different around here. The designs are developing quickly and the site will be updated regularly, so check back frequently.
